Scottish Enterprise are delighted to support the John Logie Baird category of Outstanding Achievement in Innovation for 2011.  For Scotland to achieve increased growth in the economy and competitiveness, it is important that more companies develop innovative products to sell and expand overseas.  In this category, we are looking for a Scottish company that has successfully managed to develop new products, services or business opportunities and to have done this with increased international sales.

The nominees should therefore:

• Be a registered Scottish (head office) based company
• Be able to demonstrate significant investment (time or £) in developing the new product, service or business model development
• Have achieved sales in a significant or several international markets
