LINC Scotland

LINC Scotland is the national association for business angels in Scotland, with a membership that includes around two hundred investors operating as individuals, plus over four hundred more organised in around twenty syndicates.  In 2007, sixty private investment deals were concluded in a range of Scotland’s most exciting high growth companies.

For almost fifteen years, LINC has played an active part in altering the business culture in Scotland and the Scottish business angel marketplace is now amongst the most developed in Europe.  Our objective remains the continuing growth and improvement of the whole business angel marketplace in Scotland and we are active in investor training, syndicate creation and development, and investment readiness.

LINC is pleased to support the John Logie Baird Awards because we are impressed by their focus on supporting developments with real commercial potential and the comprehensive business growth package being offered as part of the programme.  We believe this should be another step forward for the innovation culture in Scotland.
